Founder Ronjon Bhattacharya gives TEDx speech in Phnom Penh

Our founder, Ronjon Bhattacharya (LinkedIn), joined the Navy immediately after graduating from Penn because he needed to make a positive difference in the world.  During his service, he led teams of up to 150 engineers and served a nine-month deployment in support of the second Gulf War (OIF-II).

After separating from the service in July 2008, he pursued an MBA, receiving a full-tuition academic scholarship from the University of Melbourne (MBS). He eventually became the Dean’s Scholar and won the student experience award in recognition for his impact in the school community.

Following graduation he joined the management consulting firm Bain & Company to continue making a difference, this time trying to make history by advising companies rather than steering warships.  He soon realized his position at Bain wasn’t hands-on enough — helping companies grow their bottom line wasn’t nearly as fulfilling as it was to fundamentally affect people’s lives on a daily basis.

Ronjon left Bain, starting a small company to help people rewrite their resumes… after all, what could be more life changing than helping people get better jobs? Along the way, Ronjon became sought out for his LinkedIn expertise among other things.

Soon after, Ronjon maximized this impact by becoming a recruiter at Aerotek, and within six months was a class standout, due in no small part to the singular work ethic he brought with him from his previous careers.  While at Aerotek, he observed a number of failings which were keeping recruiters from being effective, and his bosses agreed with his ideas and results.  Unfortunately, they were too entrenched to implement organizational change.

Ronjon left Aerotek to start Kendall Staffing in May 2013. Within the first year, he signed clients such as Harvard and Tripadvisor, as has continued to do amazing work.

In January 2017, Kendall Staffing was (is?) in the position to expand by hiring the best employees — in this case, we are looking for exceptional employees who are looking to work as independent, remote contractors. If you are interested in working for us, please see our careers page.
